Picnic time

So, what's up guys???? I went to picnic around 20 miles from Duluth last Sunday. I never imagined that it would turn out to be such a beautiful day since it was windy and raining down in Duluth.

IT was nice and fun picnic. I really enjoy it...
Summer in Duluth was absolutely incredible.
Some of my friends from church sailed and fished together but it turned out so bad coz it was windy so there weren't sun fishes or basses around. but, over all.. it was totally great chill- xing ( chill out and relaxing).. Ups.. I just learn it from my co-workers...

Here are the scenery from the place that I went to picnic.. it was totally gorgeous at northern places of Minnesota.

Look at those food... YUMMY... watermelon means summer time.. haha

One of the congregation prepared the desert ( Rhubarb PIE)..MMM..... yummy...

One of my friends sailed thorough the lake to catch some fish, but unfortunately, they didn't.

Summer is just around the corner

Hello everyone, it's been a long time since I posted my blog. I'm so sorry for the delay. Nothing much happens with me lately, I just trying to keep myself on my finals and jobs so that's why time is very limited for me.

But.. Summer is just around the corner, and all my plans this summer as same as last year working for UMD in Duluth. Nothing interesting going on..

Here are couple of picture to brighten your days.. Eventhough it is still raining so badly outside but...it's May.. haha...
Have a great week everyone.

All American Girl

I visited my friend down in Kansas city, Missouri during spring break which is on March,17-21. Annie Sevy grew up in Harrisonville, Missouri and she went to high school down there too. Then we met last year at Chemistry Lab. She's my best lab partner ever. Unfortunately, She transferred to UMKC( University of Missouri,Kansas City) last fall. I had a great time when I visited her. Never imagine before, it was so hot up there.I even played volleyball

with her friends but by the time I went back up to Minnesota, it was snowy up here.
Which is pretty insane for me. I met her family including her grandparents, they were really nice and guess what? their house is comfortable and nice. I didn't take many pictures as I planned, not because I didn't want too, just because I didn't get the perfect moment for it.
Here's couple of photos of downtown's national park.

Annie Sevy texting in the middle of volley game.
I can tell you missed peanut butter sandwich, but I didn't miss it as much as you do. haha =)

I also went to UMKC to accompany her one day, because she didn't has spring break until a week after I do, so.. I have to squeeze in all her busy schedule.

Another photos of UMKC which is amazed me, It bigger than UMD. haha =)
So, I hope you guys enjoy my posts. I am so sorry for the delay just because my hectic life going on with me.
Have a nice weekend everyone!

BB ( Blast Birthday)

Wooowww... First of all, I want to thank every one of my family in Philly and Germany and also my friends in Duluth, Indonesia, Singapore and the last not least, Canada for giving me such birthday wishes. I'm so grateful that you guys remembered my birthday which is on 02.22.08
WELL... I'm guessed that kinda old now.

So, on your right side, I went to Nokomis restaurant and bar with Cheryl Beaver, Nate and Abby ( Nate's girlfriend). It was a blast.. Check what the picture is all about..

Look at that, Hot chocolate with cutest Marshmallow on it, IT WAS SO cute.. so I took photos of it. On the other hand, Nate was complained, what is so special about hot chocolate.. ( WHATEVER.. I think it is so cute)

So, Nokomis is about 6 miles from Downtown Duluth and it was between Duluth and Two Harbors, Minnesota.. I love the scenery up there and the food was really good as well and the most important things is the food is below $10( can you believe it?). We had a chance to chat with the chef, who was so nice to all his costumers.

Here is the scenery around Nokomis. I love it very much.. It was peaceful and the lake was so quiet... nothing else can described how peaceful it was. I want to get back there someday to celebrate special occasions.

This one of the best food that I ever eaten in Minnesota.
"Grilled Tuna Burger" with salad-blue cheese dressing.
Taste so Yummy... love it so much, it was crunchy and so taste so perfect!!

So, here's the deal guys.. the last time I had birthday cake when I was having 17th birthday( so literally it was 8 years ago). But Cheryl bought this delicious marble cake for me, and Abby took photos of me and the cake. haha =)

Last Friday, Nick and his wife, Joan and me celebrate my birthday
at Indian palace restaurant, in downtown Duluth.
Nick and Joan gave me a present of Nick's returning from London, England..
here's kinda funny photos since I never been to England so I set my sad face how
I was freakin miss Europe since 1996, the last time I went to Germany to visit my cousin.

Joan and I after super delicious Indian festive..
Look at the plates!!!!!!! It is telling us that we are so greedy !!

My fave athletes and events

Hello everyone, hope you all miss my blog spot. here I am again with some news.
So, WHO IS THE winner of super 42? yup.. you're guys are right.. it's New York giants. They won on Feb,3rd after bet New England Patriots with only 3 points ahead.
Honestly, the 1st and 2nd quarter game were kinda boring because there was only 1 touchdown made by patriots. But... It's getting excited in the 4th quarter after Eli Manning ( Giant's quarterback) threw ball to Giant's wide receiver ( I forgot his name) and they won that game.
As you guys know, Eli Manning is the Most Valuable Player in Super Bowl 42..
As you guys see on the left hand side, that's Manning with his jersey. I love that game !!!

Honestly, Giants played really well with their defense. I never seen such a great defense during this season. Although my friends in campus and neighborhood predicted that the Patriots will win the super bowl because of their perfection games in this season but Giants beat them. What a great weekend!!!..
I'm kinda disappointed with the advertisement during games because people used to wait for the best ad in the super bowl. But there was a Budweiser ad that I like with a dog trained horses for becoming a better athletes. I love them.
If you miss any of them, You can probably check it on nfl.com or even at you tube.

As I mention earlier, Minnesota states has election vote last Tuesday and Senator Obama won most of the states for democratic party.
Here was a picture of my favorite MSNBC news reader, Brian Williams when he is interviewing Hillary Clinton.
He is so cute.. isn't he? haha

The last but not the least, on feb,7th Chinese heritage celebrate new year in their country and rat as the symbol of it this year.
Culture believe that people who born in rat year tend to be a ambitious, industrious, and hard working. ( I was born in 1984, 24 years ago and it was a rat year, but I don't think that I worked hard enough. haha )

and yesterday was my lil brother,Sam's birthday.. So.. HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRO!!!!!!!!!! HAVE A GREAT one!!
so, alright everyone, I hope you all enjoy my posts.

Well.. Anyway.. There are 2 big events on Minnesota next week, Minnesota Caucus will held on Minneapolis on Feb,5th. who will win?
We'll see the hot votes for Obama or Clinton.

Ice Cave..... oh well..
Then Super Bowl 42 will begin at 5 pm live from Arizona. Who are you supporting for? Patriots of New York Giants? oh well.. It's gonna be tough.
but We'll see what happen.

Here are couple picture from some website.
It's pretty interesting since I couldn't find any picture to show you guys how frigid the temperature was. It's crazy.
I worked at Green house today and it's quite fun. My supervisor, Debra was so nice. I was told by Nick ( one of my friends when we used to work for UMD grounds) that she had a farm.
Wow.. I never knew it before.
Oh well.. It was such a pleasure to work with Deb.
I'm so sorry guys that I can't even post how the green house looks like because I never take my camera since first time I worked. So, if I had a chance..I'll up date it.

I'll post even more..I promise.. Can't wait for the super Bowl.

oh well..

how times like an arrow..

Today is my first day at school and honestly, I'm pretty lame at it.
I'm not get used to busy schedule after having a month off of school and work. but.. Here I am again..but above all things, I'm grateful for getting college in united states, it's a rare opportunity for people in my country but I'm give thanks for all of these.

Last Sunday, The Packers lost against new york Giants. I never seen crowd hangin' around at Lambou field at -1 below 0 fahrenheit which isn't make sense for me how people can stand for 3 hours in weather like that. If it was me, I already death frozen. hihi =0.

So.. That's it for today.. Have a great rest of the week everyone. I'll post even more.
