I'm so doubt and pessimistic

So 2 hours ago, I had my interview appointment about baby sitter job with amy carlson who is a mother to her two lovely children, Eric,9 months and Loren,3 years old.Amy and Chris graduates from University of Michigan at Grand Rapids. Amy is an english teacher in high school and her husband is a dentist working in Duluth,MN. Well.. at some point, they are so kind to me, she only asked me couple of questions related my parents, siblings and my education at University of Minnesota, i.e, what major do I take in UMD and what kind of courses that I will plan to take on the following summer and fall. well.. she said that she will let me know her choices by next wednesday, cause she has to interview other applicants next week.

Honestly, I like her, she's so lovely and kind by giving me a ride back in a nasty weather like now to my dormitory, however I want to share with you guys... I'm doubt that I'll get this job. First, I dont have any kind of experiences in babysitter things, all I have done is I'm just being a teacher for a year, and secondly, I dont have car, so I cant take the kids to the mall or other playground that far away from their house. and I dont want to disturb amy by giving a ride all the time. Sooooooo... I'm kind of pesimistic right now.

Frankly, I really need this job, since I dont take any classes in the summer, but she said that she also need extra hands not only in the summer but during decent time. I really hope that I can get this job, I really do. Otherwise, I have to search jobs postings along the website, which is kinda frustrating for me if you dont have something to do along summer time......... wuuuhhhhhh =(

Well......... anyway, thank you for all your encouragement all the time, you're guys have been an awesome friends for me, sometimes I felt like living in United States is not makes me alot easier than I used to in Jakarta, Indonesia. It gives me new challenge and experiences.
Thanks guys...

Have a great weekend

Life is short ; Live it up...

Money,love,friends,drugs, sports, literature, art, movies--
whatever
you seek in your life, it's probably different from the person sitting next to you.

Too often I wonder the difference between a successful life and a failed life. How or Who, if anyone, should define or determine a failed life only failed because we look at it as failed?
Perhaps we diagnose it as a failed life simply because it doesnt agree with our socioeconomic norms.

Someone who wants to travel and never goes to school instead derives their knowledge through experiences is often considered uneducated, but to what extent is someone educated? Can you tell me??? Is someone who goes to school for four years really that much more "enlightened" than a construction worker who chose to work and join a trade at the age of 18 instead of going to a university? IF so.. I wonder why.

Although higher education is something I wouldn't give up foe the world, life after college sometimes worries me.
It seems a lot of students fall into what seems to be a mundane plot, rather than what could be joyous and spontaneous expedition.
If I were to go to a univeristy, obtain my bachelor degree and pursue what most college graduates aspore toward after college, I may never get that vital time back. To some extent, I realize others just want to have a successful career which will allow them to live a decent life, raise their children and reitre in a timely fashion. This is perfectly fine with me, but it is not something that appeals to me.
Going to school for four years, finding well-paying job and working a stereotypical nine-to-five job for 40 years and then retiring in our 60s or 70s seems to be a way of life that is too accepted, too planned. Although it may not be for everyone, I've decided to reorganize the plot of my life to one that I feel is more logical.

Rather than wait until I am 60 or 70, I've decidede to take to an indefinite amount of years after college to travel and see the things I want to see while I am physically and mentally equipped to make the excursion.

There are many questions in life that will never be answered, but there is one thing we can all agree on : LIFE IS SHORT. Although college and a carrer may be important, it doesnt mean that we all have to do it according to "the norm". Take time, think about who you are and what you want, learn however you want to learn and apply it however you want to apply it.
The marginal utility of life can be weighed by the person living it. Although there may be standards and norms, that doesnt mean you have to accept them. Life is a game of questions, so ask them.

Remedies for spring fever

Tips for spring fever...

D
ust off your hiking shoes, break out your fly rod and grease up your bike chain because spring is awakening.
That's right, lengthier days and warming temperature are sure signs that the newe season is fast approaching, and with its arrival comes endless opportunities for outdoor fun for those stuck with a bad case of cabin fever.
So............ search through the closet, reach under the bed and dig out all that gear that's been stowed away during Old Man Winter's less than stellar performance and get ready for some sweet smelling spring air.

Go Stream fishing :

S
oon, steelhead and Kamloops rainbow trout will begin their annual spawning migration in the swift streams of the North Shore. Fly and bait fishermen alike chase these feisty fish in rivers like the Lester, Knife and Sucker starting early April.
All you need is a pair of warm waders and a hefty rod. Fishing is usually best after a good rain when water levels rise.

Watch the migration :
M
igration waterfowl that gracefully glided southward over the northland in the fall are returning in great numbers. Many species are swooping into the Duluth area on their way to breeding grounds to the north, providing excellent opportunities for bird watching action. Find open water along Park point and scope out various forms of puddle and diving sucks. See how close you can get and snap some photos.

Make some maple syrup :
S
ugar maple trees will soon be spilling their sweet sap, and there's not a better time or place to tap into nature's candy. Learn how to find the right trees and what goes into making maple syrup.

Break out the tent :
There's nothing like the first springtime camping trip of the year-frosty night, dewy mornings and muddy clothes. Head up the North Shore to one of the many state parks or find palce along the Superior hiking trail.
Mild temperatures during the day make for great hiking and chilly nights only make a strong campfire better.
Dont forget your fishing rod and wadders, as there are many camping sites near the fish filled rivers of the North shores.

Go for a mountain bike ride :
A
lthough muddy trails arent the best for hiking, sloppy, springtime mountain bike is all-time. The same trails that have been used for what little cross country skiing went down this winter are slowly turning into high speed runaways
for adrenaline thirsty bike riders.Once the snow melts and the trails become navigable, head over to Hartley Nature Center for some of the best biking in Duluth.

I was amazed with all the Lego creatures,

I want to take photos all of part of the mall, but
the time running out so fast, I even couldnt make for a window shopping from each store.
