Lily of the valley

Hallo everyone, I finally survive from this stressed-week. I'm sure that's another one after this week. however, I realized now.. at your young age,you have to "fight to the end" no matter how hard it is.. it's your challenge,so you have to do it.

Anyway on last post,I was quite sad because I was rejected by one of the kindest person for me, I guess. And I've been applied to couple jobs for working on campus, such as working at book stores during the summer, and also working at housing office for delivering mail to residence halls and apartment,it isn't for the summer,I think its gonna be fall 2007. Anyhow, I hope that I will get one of those jobs.

Yesterday, I received an easter e-card from one of my best friend, and suddenly I was suprised when this flowers appears at the end of the e-card.

When I googling it, I didnt find what the name of this flower.(fyi, I have seen it at snow queen drama, so It made me so curious, so I ask my friend, phebes... ( pron, vippsss.. like the tv drama, friends) and then.... she said, it probably would be calla lily as her sister
use it when she married. but... when I t
ry to google it.. it isnt.... what was it???????? I was so damn curious yesterday..then I try with the key word " lily" and I found it..It was Convallaria majalis, commonly known as the Lily of the Valley or Prolificans Lily-of-the-Valley.....
oh how sweet it is...

According to wikipedia, the leaves and flowers contain glycosides that have been used in medicine for centuries. In overdose, preparations can be poisonous; pets and children can be harmed by eating Lily of the Valley.

The flower is also known as Our Lady's tears since, according to the legend, the tears Mary shed at the cross turned to
Lilies of the Valley. According to another legend, Lilies of the Valley also sprang from the blood of St.Leonard during his battle with the dragon. Other names include May Lily, May Bells, Lily Constancy, Ladder-to-Heaven, Male Lily and Muguet.
By tradition, Lily of the Valley is sold in France in the streets on May 1. Since 1982, Lily of the Valley is national flower of Finland. =). The name "Lily of the Valley" is also used in some English
translations of the Bible in Song of Songs 2:1, although whether the Hebrew word "shoshana" originally used there refers to this species or not is uncertain. The meaning of this flower is "You will find Happiness"......upss.... I'm so exicited by the flowers.. so sorry guysss...well then I try to find it online, there's real one which is a little bit expensive for me about $33.95 for one bunch, but the most interesting part that there's an articifial one with arcylic vases about $29.95. I want to buy it but..
I dunno if it was worthed or not to spend money on it. so.... yeah. let someone give it to me as a suprise( daydreaming... =) =)

well.. I think lily of the valley will works for everybody who had a hard time, when you think you're so tired or in deepest depression that no other way you can figure out
your problems, So just looking at this flower, you will have positive thinking... that you will find happiness. hehehehheee =)
and also yesterday......
I received the same photo from my friend in Jakarta... phebe, the first one send it to me, robert, the second one and Henry, the third one. I miss spend time with them, but life goes on,everyone has it own business so yeah.... what can I say..

soo.. I spent my weekend cleaning my room and having a hair cut- but I wont back to the hairdresser, she doesnt have a skill as a stylist, it's just ordinary style. I think that everyone can do it as same as she does. oh my goodness.. I dunno what to comment........ ok then.. that's it........ HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE
