Something happen late wednesday night, August, 1st that 35 West bridge which was the main bridge for people in Twin Cities
(Minneapolis/St.Paul) People used to driving back and forth to Downtown Minneapolis collasped.
According to CNN news, that at least five people were killed and 100 injured when Minnesota's busiest bridge inexplicably crumbled during Wednesday evening's rush hour, dumping dozens of cars into the river ( as you seen in this photos-- I took it from CNN.com). The death toll is expected to rise as divers search the twisted debris, as well as areas upstream and downstream. What a horrible things ever happen. I hope that victims get recover as soon as possible.
well..anyway.. I have made up my mind for not working at UMD ground during the school year because that the minimum wage of Minnesota has been increased last week, so it means that I'll get pay more at grounds during school year... so way to go... It's been a hectic days in grounds since some of my friends resign from the jobs, and some of them take a big break during august( doing research, attending football camp, taking vacation ..and so on..)
My plans for august is I'm gonna fly back towards philadelphia on 24th, and probably settle there for one and two days... then I'm gonna pick my brother upat Philly on 27th,he'll fly from Frankfurt,Germany until Sept, 18th... which is three weeks vacation for him. Then we gonna travel to NYC, Washington DC then New jersey, Virginia, Baltimore, Canada ( probably, I'm not quite sure he's excited about it).. then... I have to fly back to Minneapolis on Sept,3rd because school starts at 4th... so.. A week off for me is more than enough.
I'm so excited for meeting him since it has been 3 years since he went to school at germany.
So, I cant wait for those days... Have a good one guys..
